The wow factor is immediate. From the huge stylised ‘E’ on the front of the building to the giant digital screen that displays changing images in the porte cochere, it’s clear on arrival that this won’t be a hotel to easily forget.
Electronic blinds open on arrival to reveal the view, a giant gilt-framed mirror turns out to also be the television, a mirrored feature wall increases the feel of space, and the wine fridge is stocked with Australian and imported vintages.
